To most it's the Trans Canada Highway. To us it's SHU-14, one of 100 sites we are visiting in the Bay of Fundy watershed this week in search of nutrient pollution.
Took a road trip last week in search of nutrient pollution. We explored the Upper Bay of Fundy watershed, stopping along the way to collect samples for analysis.
Our first market was filled with so many great people and wonderful conversations. If you missed us we will be back for the last two Thursdays of market season! Hope to see you there. #climatechange #environment
Come see us at the Saint Andrews Farmers Market today. We are collecting feedback from the community to contribute to a climate change adaptation plan and want to hear from you! #climatechange #environment
Our latest infographic shows that each kWh of electricity is not created equally.
A kilowatt hour does the same amount of work wherever it's used, but producing one in NB generates 292 grams of atmosphere clogging carbon dioxide. Over 70% of our electricity is made from non-emitting sources though, so if we can decrease our peak demand, we can dramatically improve our energy efficiency.
